Main purpose of this mod is to extend SA's gameplay by adding different power-up effects from other GTA titles as Special Abilities without breaking away difficulty of the Vanilla game. Because, SA is pretty much fine without Power-ups.
Additionally, this mod is also intended to customizable to suit player's preference in every way possible
Press CAPSLOCK to activate or deactivate your ability. Raise your Special ability stat by killing, driving or taking damages to 'reveal' or increase maximum duration of your ability. Open statbox to see Ability meter, and hold CAPSLOCK to see Special status bar instead.
There's also a config file included. This config is one of key features because you can change one (or two) ability to install with it. You can also change keypress (default CAPSLOCK), instantly unlock ability or name your ability. Make sure to take a look at it.
Abilities
There are 6 abilities available to install, each abilities have their own effects and bonus for stat and bar.
- Slows down time of your surroundings. Gain bonus with quick kills. Based on III and VC's Adrenaline.
- Doubles amount of damage your bullet's inflict. Gain bonus with headshots. Based on GTA2's Double Damage.
- Nullifies any damage you receive although with few exception. Gain bonus with taking damages. Based on GTA2's Invulnerability.
- Sharpen your vehicle handling while also slows down time a little. Gain bonus with driving. Based on GTAV's Franklin ability.
- Maintain your crosshair accuracy, preventing bulletspread. Gain bonus with shooting peds.
- Gradually restores your health, providing quick support. Gain bonus with maintain low health.
Add-on
SA-Styled bar
This Add-on script adds ability bar between armor and health bar with adjustable color, position and size. Just another attempt to make this mod more integrated to vanilla in terms of visual. Only usable with default HUD.
